Mother’s Day Omakase Experience – Reservation Terms and Conditions
By making or confirming a reservation for the Mother’s Day Omakase experience at Social Butterfly (“Restaurant”, “we”, “us”), you (“Guest”, “you”) agree to the following Terms and Conditions:
1. Reservations
1.1. All Mother’s Day Omakase experiences are strictly by reservation only. Walk-ins will not be accommodated.
1.2. A valid booking requires provision of accurate contact details and, where requested, valid payment details.
1.3. The Restaurant reserves the right to decline or cancel reservations at its discretion, acting reasonably.
2. Deposits and Payment Authorisation
2.1. By providing payment details, you authorise the Restaurant to charge applicable fees in accordance with these Terms.
2.2. The Restaurant may pre-authorise your payment method prior to your reservation.
3. Cancellations and Changes
3.1. Cancellations or changes to guest numbers must be made at least 24 hours prior to the reservation time via the Restaurant’s official booking channels.
3.2. Requests made outside this timeframe may not be accommodated and may incur fees.
4. No-Show and Late Cancellation Fee
4.1. A fee of $50 per person may be charged in the event of:
(a) a “no-show” (failure to attend a confirmed reservation without notice); or
(b) cancellation or reduction in guest numbers within 24 hours of the reservation time.
4.2. This fee represents a genuine pre-estimate of the loss incurred by the Restaurant, including preparation, staffing, and lost booking opportunities.
4.3. Fees will be charged to the payment method provided at the time of booking.
5. Omakase Participation Requirement
5.1. A minimum of fifty percent (50%) of guests at each table must participate in the omakase experience.
5.2. For example, a table of four (4) guests requires at least two (2) omakase orders.
6. Dietary Requirements and Allergies
6.1. Guests must notify the Restaurant of any dietary requirements, allergies, or intolerances at least 24 hours prior to the reservation.
6.2. While reasonable efforts will be made to accommodate requests, the Restaurant does not guarantee that all dietary needs can be met.
6.3. The Restaurant will not be liable for any adverse reactions where dietary information has not been disclosed in advance.
7. Service and Timing
7.1. Each omakase experience is prepared to order; guests acknowledge an approximate preparation and service time of fifteen (15) minutes.
7.2. Dining is allocated a maximum seating duration of ninety (90) minutes per reservation.
8. Late Arrivals
8.1. Tables will be held for a maximum of fifteen (15) minutes after the scheduled reservation time.
8.2. Late arrivals may result in a reduced dining duration.
8.3. Where a reservation cannot be honoured due to late arrival, it may be treated as a no-show.
9. Consumer Rights
9.1. Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts, or modifies any rights you may have under the Australian Consumer Law or any other applicable legislation.
10. General
10.1. The Restaurant reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time, acting reasonably.
10.2. The Restaurant reserves the right to refuse service in accordance with applicable laws.
